Catch of the day.............

A day of fishing and late April snow happening in Colorado.  We have had such a variety of weather this week in Colorado, everything from warm sunny days to wind, rain and snow.  We have been fishing a lot lately and have been enjoying eating all this nutritious trout.   Happy Sunday!

Beautiful Colorado day.....

Mr. Outdoors and I had a great day for fishing yesterday here in sunny Colorado.  We caught our limit of trout and will be enjoying them for our lunch today.  I prefer mine filleted and the mister likes his grilled whole, with lemon and butter.  The fish were biting and the sun was shining, what more could we ask for!  I am thinking the leftovers will be used for fish tacos with avocado, cheese and salsa.  The snow is melting as we speak and the rivers are gushing with all the water.  Terrific Tuesday!

Kale chips.....

It would be a wild stretch of my imagination to call these kale "chips".  Rather like putting a mouthful of dried herbs in your mouth and winding up with a wad that resembles chewing tobacco!  I've seen the recipe on pinterest for awhile and decided to give it a go....file this under... willing to try anything once..LOL.  Happy day friends!

Grandma's Quilt...

I finished all of the embroidery on my Grandmothers quilt blocks.  I am happy with the end result, blue/lavender border fabric is  perfect

, looks like fabric she would have made a dress from.  I will be hand quilting this one.  60 degrees in Colorado today and the tulips are beginning to form buds...spring!
