Grey Sweater.....

The grey sweater is done.....my first "finish" for 2016.  Took the class from Craftsy and was impressed with the detail of this online class.  I made the sweater in size XL, next time I would go with L, hopefully after a good soak and light tumble in the dryer in will fit me better, either way it is warm and cozy and I love it!

There Are Sunsets......

Have you noticed all the beautiful winter sunsets?  We were driving to Colorado on this evening, facing the sun as it went down.  Magical moments in time.......truly looked like a rocket ship.

Ringing In 2016....

Happy New Year!  We are welcoming the new year in Colorado, the kids and grand kids came out and sledding and skiing were on the agenda.  Lots of snow in our area and very cold!  Christmas was so fun and nothing but sweet memories remain, alas all the decor has been put away for another year.  Pizza was the meal we all chose after a full day of skiing...Secret Stash in Crested Butte...great pizza!  Mr. Outdoors and I by the Christmas tree.  On my needles a grey sweater for me, so many crafts I want to make this year.

Cheesey biscuits, homemade fudge, tea cakes, niece's Christmas cookies, carrot cake, crochet, knitting, a teacup Christmas tree (not mine but so cute) and last but not least Mr. Outdoors and I, wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Busy busy.....

Such a busy time of year....we have the tree up and most of the shopping done.  My handmade gifts are all done except for one and that will be completed next week.  We will be celebrating Christmas at the farm and Colorado also.  Can't wait!  May your days be Merry and Bright!
