Colorado travels and back to the Farm......discovered a new elephant ear leaf unfurling, such beautiful greens as I have never seen. Of course green is my favorite color so I love these leaves, especially in the dead of winter. My plants love the south facing dinning room windows.....

Dresden Plate quilt......
Putting together a dresden plate quilt. Using up 20 or so fat quarters, just so I can justify buying a few more....smile. There is a total of 240 pieces with 20 in each plate. Lots of fun putting this together as my quilting mojo has been on vacation for a while......my sewing room is nice and cozy this time of year. Neat trick for making the perfect points, use a piece of card stock to hold the point in place and then press....works great! The pink/white background block fabric is French Brocade by Red Rooster fabrics. The white block with red lines running thru it was replaced on all the dresden plates to a more suitable fabric...the white just stuck out like a sore thumb! It took a while ripping it all out but I am glad I did.
